TCM Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of needles into the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. As a healing technique it has been utilized for more than 2500 years.
Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture has a long history in health maintenance and in disease prevention and treatment, particularly for chronic disease. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or even surgery. Relief is often obtained with acupuncture when traditional medical therapy has failed.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture is based on a paradigm of balance in nature. The concept of this paradigm is the belief of the existence of energy, called Qi.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture are an important and often underestimated part of health services. The World Health Organization’s (WHO) traditional medicine strategy 2014-2023 aims to promote the safe and effective use of traditional medicines by regulating, researching and integrating products, practitioners and practice into health systems, where appropriate.
